What Women Really Look for in Men

Wendy Fitos

Believe it or not, we women do not expect you to look like movie stars. If you are too pretty we start to worry about having to share the mirror and losing our hours in the bathroom.

The best grooming tips that I like to share with men help professional as well as personal appearance. As many companies are returning to suits and ties, a groomed look gives you the edge at your job because it compliments the professional wardrobe you are working at putting together.

Eyebrow trimmer

1. Keeping EYEBROWS trimmed and combed will help you be able to establish better eye contact with us as well as your professional colleagues. Men look great with a thicker brow unless it is starting to grow on your eyelid.

All kidding aside, my male clients are amazed at how great they look when they get brows tweezed or waxed.

Clinique skin moisturizer

2.
Washing and moisturizing your face twice a day will help keep your skin soft and make shaving a better experience as the razor will be able to get closer to the skin without cutting the surface.

Men's grooming products are experiencing the largest area of growth in the health and beauty industry.

thinning hair on balding man

3. Be dignified about thinning hair. I never realized how proud you are of your hair and how upset you become when it starts to thin.

Wearing a style that is cropped and close to the scalp will make hair look thicker and in many cases, bring out a chiseled cheekbone and the beautiful eyelashes that men never realize we women would kill for.

Nioxin hair products are recommended by many men because they make the hair feel thicker and stimulate the scalp which can help the hair look fuller.

If you don't feel comfortable asking a professional for ideas, magazines like Details, Men's Health, and Vogue Men offer articles monthly on grooming. Google grooming for men and you will find a plethora of resources that will not only help you get the girl; they will probably help with the promotion.
