Northeast Ohio International Business Network (NEOIBN) hosted a reception for Ambassador, Consul General of People's Republic of China in New York Sun Guoxiang at the Club at Key Center on July 26, 2012.

The event was coordinated by Ye-Fan Wang Glavin, PhD. the Founder and President of "China Invests in America" and both a Senior Scholar, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and Case Western Reserve University, Faculty and Senior Advisor.

Ye-Fan works on the "US-China Collaboration Platform" which is a partnership between Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and China National Off-shore Oil Corp (CNOOC) - New Energy Investment Inc. The goal is to develop technically feasible and economically viable solutions to pressing energy and environmental issues by accessing the most promising technologies, research, knowledge and talent in the U.S., China and worldwide.

This was the Consul General's first visit to Ohio and he met with Governor Kasich, Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, Scholars and Business people.
